7th January declared public holiday

The Interior Minister, Hon. Ambrose Dery has declared Tuesday January 7 as a public holiday.

A statement from the Ministry of Interior said the day will be marked as a constitutional day.

The statement reads

PRESS RELEASE: DECLARATION OF TUESDAY, 7TH JANUARY, 2020 AS A PUBLIC HOLIDAY

The general public is hereby informed that Tuesday, 7th January, 2020 which marks CONSTITUTION DAY, is a Statutory Public Holiday and should be observed as such throughout the country.
