57 people benefit from free glaucoma operation

Evans Afari Yeboah Gyan- The philanthropist

A philanthropist, Evans Afari Yeboah Gyan has led the operation of 57 people who were suffering from glaucoma.

The founder of the AG Foundation in October 16-18, 2019 held a free health screening in the Sunyani East and West districts of the Bono region leading to the operation of the 57 people.

The participants were screened on Diabetes, Mellitus , Hypertension and Eye Glaucoma. Expired Health insurance cards of the beneficiaries were renewed for free.

The 57 beneficiaries were operated at the Bibiani government hospital with the specialists transported from the Komfo Anokye Teaching Hospital.

Some of the beneficiaries who spoke on Dinpa anopa bosuo Monday December 2 expressed their profound gratitude to the philanthropist for his kind heart .

An Eighty two year old S.K. Owusu, a beneficiary who spoke to Akua Nyarko Abronoma, host of Dinpa anopa bosuo said their transportation to and from the Sunyani municipality to Bibiani where they were operated to was paid by the philanthropist.

Evans Afari Yeboah Gyan said he’s only embarking on such acts to ensure people live a healthier life .

“I am not doing this because I am seeking a position, I don’t intend to seek any position for now as been speculated, however , I want to see people live healthy life’s devoid of sickness “, he said .

He added that the AG Foundation will soon role out its new modules which includes : Sanitation, skills development , women and Children Protection and Health.

The rest are: Entertainment, Education, Agriculture, Sports Development and General Empowerment.
