Weed your lands or face Prosecution-Nana Agyei to Mim residents

Nana Agyei Sikapa, the Mim Urban Council Chairman, is calling on the residents of Mim in the Asunafo North Municipality of the Ahafo Region to take responsibility for maintaining a clean environment by weeding their lands.
The lands in question were granted to the people by the Mim Traditional Council.
Speaking in an interview with Nana Sarfo Kantanka on Rejoice Amansan Ntie morning, Nana Agyei emphasizes that failure to weed the lands could result in legal action being taken by the council, which may ultimately lead to the lands being reclaimed by the Mim Traditional Council.
To enforce this initiative, the Traditional Council will provide a document to the landowners, specifying a given period within which they are expected to weed their lands. If the landowners fail to comply during this specified time, the council reserves the right to reclaim the lands.
It is worth noting that once the lands are reclaimed by the Traditional Council, they will take the responsibility of maintaining and working on the land.
This initiative aims to ensure that the community is kept clean and well-maintained for the benefit of all residents.
