Hon. Apraku Lartey, the Ahafo Regional Communications Officer for the National Democratic Congress (NDC), declared that the 2024 election represents a critical choice between the wellbeing of Ghana and the continuation of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) governance. Hon.Lartey delivered a scathing critique of the NPP, asserting that their administration has led the country into severe economic hardship and mismanagement.

He accused the ruling party of causing widespread suffering among Ghanaians due to their poor governance and economic policies. He urged all patriotic citizens to rally behind the NDC to vote the NPP out of power, suggesting that the nation’s future prosperity hinges on this pivotal election.

Addressing the speculations surrounding the absence of key NDC figures, Hon. Haruna Iddrisu and Hon. Muntaka Mubarak, from the main campaign team, Apraku Lartey explained that their exclusion is not due to any internal party conflicts but is a strategic move.

Both Haruna Iddrisu and Muntaka are parliamentary candidates, and the party leadership has decided they should concentrate on campaigning within their own constituencies to ensure their re-election.
