Kukuom Manhene Commends Political Parties for Comportment During 2024 General Elections
The Kukuom Manhene, Osahene Kwaku Aterkyi I, has praised political parties for their peaceful conduct during the 2024 general elections. He noted that the Asunafo South District, once a hotspot for electoral violence, has set a remarkable example by holding violence-free elections last year.Osahene Kwaku Aterkyi I expressed his delight at the district’s progress, attributing it to the collective efforts of all stakeholders.
He also extended his gratitude to President H.E. John Dramani Mahama for appointing a minister from the Ahafo Region. The appointment of Hon. Eric Opoku, the Member of Parliament for Asunafo South, as the Minister of Agriculture, was particularly applauded.The chief assured that Nananom in the region would unite and collaborate with Hon. Eric Opoku to advance agricultural development in the area.
