Renowned Prophet Installed as Chief of Sekyerekrom
Renowned Prophet Nkwantabisa has been installed as the chief of Sekyerekrom on Thursday, January 30, under the Mim Traditional Council in the Asunafo North Municipality of the Ahafo Region. He now bears the stool name Nana Sekyere Nkwantabisa III.
Speaking after his swearing-in ceremony at the palace of Mim Manhene, Okofrobour Dr. Yaw Agyei II, Nana Nkwantabisa stated that he had already initiated developmental projects in Sekyerekrom even before his installation as chief. He pledged to continue fostering unity and leading the community toward greater development.
He also emphasized that his role as a prophet remains unchanged despite his new position as a chief. “Chieftaincy has its roots in the Bible, and there is nothing wrong with a prophet becoming a chief,” he affirmed.
