The shocking revelation was made by the Honorable Member of Parliament for North Tongue, Samuel Okudzeto Ablakwa stating that two(2) members of parliament were absent for 18 working days without the permission of Rt. Hon speaker of parliament, Albany S.K. Bagbin.

This shocking reveal by the honorable member of parliament was made known on his Facebook post expressing his concern over the ongoing verbal attack over Hon. Sarah Adwoa Sarfo, member of parliament for Some Kwabenya without excluding Hon Henry Quarty, member of parliament for Ayawaso Central constituency, Greater Accra Region, and Ken Ohene Agyapong member of parliament for Assin North constituency.
” I am therefore perplexed and wondering, in all sincerity the basis for the discriminatory and unprincipled attacks on Sarah Adwoa Sarfo by our colleagues on the NPP side of the house, and particularly from Ken Ohene Agyapong who is equally quality of the same offense he’s been raving and ranting about,” he said.

In addition, Hon. Ablakwa also called on the privileges committee of parliament to investigate deeper into the current matter now. He also called on Ghanaians to prepare for a three-candidate by-election for; Assin central constituency, Ayawaso Central constituency, and Dome Kwabenya constituency.
