Ahafo Regional Minister Designate Has No Excuse to Fail – Former MP

Former Member of Parliament for Asunafo North, Hon. Evans Opoku Bobie, has stated that the Ahafo Regional Minister designate, Mrs. Charity Gardiner, has no justification for failure if she is approved for the role.
Speaking on Success FM’s morning show, Hon. Opoku Bobie emphasized that the previous New Patriotic Party (NPP) government, under his leadership and that of former Ahafo Regional Minister Hon. George Yaw Boakye, laid a solid foundation that will make Mrs. Gardiner’s work easier.
According to him, key structures, policies, and initiatives have already been put in place to ensure smooth governance. He noted that the Regional Coordinating Council (RCC) is well-equipped to support the minister-designate, ensuring she encounters minimal challenges in executing her duties.
Hon. Opoku Bobie further stressed that the development of Ahafo Region requires continuity and commitment, urging Mrs. Gardiner to build on the progress made by her predecessors.
He expressed confidence that with the right leadership and dedication, she can enhance the region’s growth and development.The nomination of Mrs. Charity Gardiner as Ahafo Regional Minister is awaiting parliamentary approval.
If confirmed, she will be expected to oversee the region’s administrative and developmental agenda, working closely with stakeholders to address key issues affecting the people.It remains to be seen how the minister-designate will navigate her new responsibilities, but with the structures already in place, Hon. Opoku Bobie believes she has no reason to fail.
