Germany to Recruit Ghanaian Technical Students to Work in Germany, Says Education Minister
The Minister of Education in Ghana, Dr. Yaw Osei Adutwum, has announced that the German government plans to recruit Ghanaian technical students to work in Germany. This initiative aims to foster international cooperation in education and provide valuable employment opportunities for Ghanaian students.
Dr. Adutwum revealed that representatives from the German government and the German Ambassador recently visited the Education Ministry to discuss the recruitment process. During the meeting, specific technical schools in Ghana were identified as potential sources for these students.
To prepare for this opportunity, technical schools in Ghana will introduce German language studies. This step is crucial in ensuring that Ghanaian students can effectively communicate and integrate into German workplaces and society.
Highlighting the significance of this collaboration, Dr. Adutwum mentioned that the Ministry of Education is working closely with the Labour Ministry to facilitate this recruitment process. He also noted that several other countries have expressed interest in recruiting technical students from Ghana, indicating a growing demand for skilled workers from the country.
