Mim Manhene Appeals to Minister for Support in Continuing Developmental Projects

The Mim Manhene, Dr. Okofrobour Yaw Agyei II, has appealed to the Ahafo Regional Minister, Hon. Charity Gardiner, to ensure the continuation of key developmental projects initiated in Mim, within the Asunafo North Municipality.
Speaking during a courtesy call by the Regional Minister, Nana Agyei II highlighted significant projects, including the STEM school with an aviation program at Mim Senior High School (MISEC) and the University of Engineering and Applied Sciences (UEAS) campus, where construction has already begun.
He also emphasized the long-standing demand for the creation of the Mim District, stating that it is non-negotiable and long overdue. He urged the Minister to support efforts to complete the necessary processes to grant Mim district status.
In response, Hon. Charity Gardiner reaffirmed that education remains her top priority, especially girl-child education, which aligns with the vision of the Member of Parliament for Asunafo North, Hon. Haruna Mohammed (BA). She assured that they would collaborate to improve education in the area.
Additionally, the Regional Minister pledged her commitment to advancing the district creation process, promising to continue from where previous efforts left off to help Mim attain district status.
