New Executives of Ahafo Regional House of Chiefs Sworn In

InThe newly elected executives of the Ahafo Regional House of Chiefs were officially sworn in on Wednesday, October 13, at the Goaso Regional Coordinating Council.
Nana Barima Twereku Ampem III, the Ntotroso Manhene, took office as the President, succeeding Nana Ansah Adu Baah II, the Yamfo Manhene. Dr. Okofrobour Nana Yaw Agyei II, the Mim Manhene, was sworn in as the Vice President.
These leaders will also represent the region in the National House of Chiefs.
In his acceptance speech, Nana Barima Twereku Ampem III expressed gratitude to the Electoral Commission and his fellow chiefs for their support.
Ahafo Regional Minister, Hon. George Yaw Boakye, encouraged the outgoing president to lend his experience to the new executives.
He further urged the chiefs to counsel their communities to maintain peace before and after elections, highlighting the importance of stability in Ahafo.
