Residents of the Ahafo Region have been encouraged to patronise the newly commissioned Goaso Passport Application Office to ensure the facility is fully utilised and delivers value for money.

The first resident in the region to receive a passport from the Goaso Passport Office, Magdalene Kyeremeh, told Rejoice News that residents should avoid bypassing the local office by travelling to Sunyani, Kumasi, or Accra to process their passports.

According to her, she received her Ghana passport just two days after submitting her application, highlighting the efficiency, convenience, and fast processing time at the Goaso office.

Madam Kyeremeh described the perception that acquiring a passport in Ghana is difficult as unfounded and encouraged residents in Goaso and surrounding communities to confidently access passport services within the region.

She warned that failure to utilise the Goaso Passport Application Centre could lead to its eventual collapse, urging residents to support and sustain the facility by making full use of its services for passport application and renewal.
