Hon. Robert Sarfo-Mensah, the formal Member of Parliament for Asunafo North and Ahafo NPP Regional Chairman hopeful has urged all the candidates contesting for an executive position in the ongoing constituency elections and their supporters to restrain from violence and negativities in order to restore sanity in the party.
Honorable Booba as affectionately called made this plea when he met with his supporters in the Ahafo region. The astute politician believes that this is just an internal politics that requires only the party supporters and sympathizers to choose our leaders. He explained that those who will be elected will definitely need the support of everyone in the party.
Chairman Booba explained that “we can only maintain victory when our internal elections are free and fair, however any diabolic means to ascend the leadership throne will cost the party in the general election negatively”. Sarfo-Mensah again used the occasion to advise his supporters not to engage in politics of insults, and violence.
“We need Ahafo and NPP to be victors, we can only do so by bringing everybody on board, so there is every need to bring decorum in our speeches and actions” he stated.
Honorable Robert Sarfo-Mensah (Booba) again pleaded with the incoming Ahafo constituency executives to do due diligence in the selection of their regional executives. Ahafo is strong and needs to be stronger. The two orphan constituencies must be brought back to NPP, the four constituencies that we hold now must be maintained so we can clinch victory in 2024 to break the 8, he said.
He concluded by congratulating all the polling stations executives who won their respective positions and wished those who lost better luck next time.
