Chairman Wontumi Expresses Gratitude to Ashanti Region Despite NPP’s Electoral Defeat
Mr.Bernard Antwi Boasiako a.k.a Chairman Wontumi, the Ashanti Regional Chairman of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), has expressed his gratitude to the people of the Ashanti Region despite the party’s defeat in the general elections.He acknowledged both those who supported the party by voting and those who did not.
Addressing the media at Vice President Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia’s office in Kumasi,he also commended Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, the party’s presidential candidate, for his gracious acceptance of the election results, emphasizing the importance of peace and unity in moving forward.
Chairman Wontumi assured supporters that the party leadership in the region would engage with the Ashanti Regional NPP executives to assess their shortcomings, analyze the reasons behind their loss, and strategize effectively for the future.
