Assembly Member Calls for Stakeholder Engagement to Resolve PM Election Dilemma
The Asunafo North Municipal Assembly in the Ahafo Region of Ghana has faced challenges in electing a Presiding Member (PM) despite multiple voting attempts.
This issue has prompted Hon Frank Antwi, the Assembly member for the Nana Bofah electoral area in Mim, to announce plans for engaging stakeholders to facilitate the election process during their next assembly meeting.Speaking in an interview on “Rejoice Amansan Ntie Morning show”with Daakyehene Atoofi, Hon Frank Antwi emphasized the critical role of electing a PM, stating that without one, the promises made to bring development to their electoral areas might remain unfulfilled.
