Asunafo North MP Advocates for Peaceful Elections

Hon. Evans Opoku Bobbie, the Member of Parliament for Asunafo North Constituency in the Ahafo Region and the NPP Parliamentary candidate, along with his role as the Deputy Minister for Youths and Sports, has emphasized the need for a peaceful election process.
Expressing concern over reports of a political party allegedly planning violence in this year’s election within Asunafo North Constituency, Hon. Evans Opoku Bobbie called for restraint and peaceful conduct. He specifically mentioned that there were indications of the party organizing youths and providing them with mystical charms (“juju”) to instill fear and intimidate voters during the election.
Hon. Evans Opoku Bobbie cautioned against such actions and urged those involved to reconsider, emphasizing that violence has no place in a democratic process. He further advised the youths involved to think twice, highlighting that the party orchestrating such actions would not risk their own family members in acts of violence.
