Free Medical Checkups Soon to be Introduced – NHIA CEO

Dr. Aboagye Dacosta, the CEO of the National Health Insurance Authority (NHIA), announced an upcoming initiative that will enable Ghanaians to receive free medical checkups using their insurance cards.

This initiative aims to promote regular health checkups and will be formally launched with an announcement soon.Dr. Dacosta emphasized the priority placed on healthcare by H.E. Nana Addo Dankwah Akuffo-Addo, the President, and his Vice President, Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia.

By offering free checkups through insurance coverage, this initiative is expected to improve access to healthcare services and contribute to better overall health outcomes for the population.
