Goaso Diocesan Development Organization (GODIDO) Launches 5-Year Strategic Plan

The Goaso Diocesan Development Organization (GODIDO) has launched its ambitious five-year strategic plan at an event held at the Goaso Pastoral Center on Friday, October 4th, 2024.
The launch event was attended by clergy, local dignitaries, community members, and representatives from various organizations.
The plan seeks to address critical challenges within the diocese, particularly in the areas of education, health, water, sanitation, and other essential services.
The Catholic Bishop of the Goaso Diocese, Most Rev. Peter K. Atuahene, officiated the launch. In his speech, he emphasized the purpose of the strategic plan, which is to improve the operations and reach of GODIDO by securing sponsorships from well-to-do individuals and institutions. The Bishop noted that the plan aligns with the organization’s broader goal of improving the quality of life in the diocese and across Ghana.
He also called for accountability and diligence among the GODIDO leadership and committee members, warning them to handle finances with integrity and avoid complacency.
The Head of the GODIDO Committee, Rev. Fr. Nicholas Afriyie, outlined how the strategic plan will allow the organization to touch lives and uplift the communities it serves. He called on individuals, both within and outside the diocese, to join hands with GODIDO to make a meaningful difference
