Insults Won’t Win Elections- Bawumia Criticizes Mahama

Vice President Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, who is also the flagbearer of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), has issued a strong statement regarding the conduct of his opponent, former President John Dramani Mahama of the National Democratic Congress (NDC).
During a recent rally at Mim in the Asunafo North Constituency of the Ahafo Region, Dr. Bawumia expressed his belief that Mahama’s alleged use of insults could cost him the upcoming election.
According to Dr. Bawumia, the NPP’s record of “good works and achievements” will be the deciding factor in the election, setting the party apart from the NDC. “Insults won’t win you an election,” Dr. Bawumia asserted, addressing Mahama indirectly. He went on to highlight that the NPP’s policies and initiatives have positively impacted Ghanaians, providing a solid foundation for a victorious campaign.
During his visit, Dr. Bawumia received public support from Dr. Okofrobour Nana Yaw Agyei II, the chief (Manhene) of Mim.In his remarks, Nana Yaw Agyei II praised the NPP government for their dedication to the community’s development needs. According to the Mim Manhene, the government has delivered on promises and responded to local requests, leading to significant improvements in the area.
