Limited Voter Registration: Ahafo NDC Executives Threaten to Invoke Curses on Registrants

The Regional Chairman for the Opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC) in the Ahafo Region, Mr. Yaw Okyere, has threatened to invoke curses on individuals who are not natives of the Ahafo Region but are registering to vote in the upcoming December 7 polls.
During a press conference, Mr. Yaw Okyere accused the ruling New Patriotic Party (NPP) of busing people from the Ashanti Region and its surroundings into the Ahafo Region to register.
He cautioned all parents and guardians to warn their children against accepting any offers from politicians to register in Ahafo, as severe consequences would await those who engage in such acts. He also warned against any attempts to bus people into the region for registration.
