The Brong Ahafo Regional Football Association Chairperson, Dr Charles Osei Antoh, has reiterated that no club will pay participation and officiating fee during the upcoming middle league in the region. All qualified Clubs for the middle league proper will not pay a pessewa to the Association.

He mentioned that qualified teams should rather use such monies to prepare well for the climax of the season. Dr Charles Osei Antoh, was thankful to the Ghana Football Association President, Mr Kurt E.S. Okraku and his EXCO, for fulfilling their promise of Ghc 30,000 to each of the ten(10) RFAs to support their officiating budget.

The BARFA chairman, also mentioned that as a moral booster, champions of all the Division 2 zones and the Women’s Division One will receive branded trophies and medals for the first time in the history of the regional leagues.Previously, the Clubs were burdened with payments before the commencement of the middle league, which negatively affected their preparation and performance. The BARFA hopes that this gesture will help raise the standard of football at the finals this season
