MIN BRANCH OF GPRTU CAUTIONS MEMBERS TO DESIST FROM DRINKING TO DRIVE

Addressing the issue of drivers driving whiles drunk in Mim of the Asunafo North Constituency in the Ahafo Region, he said there are countless of reports either by passengers or the MTTD of the Ghana police department who are in charge of roads of the service.
He made it clear of confirming that some of their drivers take in drugs such as Alcohol, Ekikimi, Tramadol and the likes when driving which is worrying when they receive such information.
He added that, most of them brings In Opinion leaders such as Nananom, Assembly members to beg of which these pleas can’t be turned off but are asked to sign bond.
He concluded by saying “Now if a driver is reported and is guilty of such habit, nothing could be done only be banning him from driving in the municipality”
