Hon. Haruna Mohammed, also known as B.A, the National Democratic Congress (NDC) Parliamentary candidate for the Asunafo North Constituency in the Ahafo Region, has voiced a compelling narrative of readiness for change among Ghanaians ahead of the upcoming general election.

During an insightful interview on the “Rejoice Amansan Ntie” morning show with host Yaw Omono-Asamoah, B.A articulated the profound challenges facing Ghanaians, ranging from inflation and soaring fuel prices to fluctuating currency exchange rates and the overall cost of goods. He passionately underscored that these economic adversities have significantly impacted the populace, creating a fervent desire for a shift in governmental leadership.

Highlighting the NDC’s historical contributions to the development of Asunafo North Constituency, B.A emphasized the party’s proactive stance in addressing the region’s needs over the years. Despite not holding a position of power, he reiterated his personal commitment to initiating and supporting projects that benefit the community, particularly focusing on infrastructure enhancements.

However, B.A did not shy away from critiquing the actions of his political opponents, particularly accusing the incumbent Member of Parliament (MP) and National Patriotic Party (NPP) Parliamentary candidate of opportunism. He alleged that they only engage with projects for personal gain and political recognition, rather than genuine dedication to community advancement.

In rallying the constituents of Asunafo North, B.A stressed the importance of having an influential leader who can effectively advocate for their interests. He positioned himself as the right candidate to champion the region’s development, promising that under his tenure, Asunafo North would attain its own district status.

In a final plea, B.A called upon constituents to support him and the NDC, citing the party’s track record of bringing tangible progress to Asunafo North. He encapsulated his message with a resolute belief that change is not only necessary but imminent, signaling a transformative era for the region under his leadership.
