Dr. Bawumia Presents Dr. Matthew Opoku Prempeh (Napo) as Potential Running Mate to NPP’s NEC
Vice President and NPP Flagbearer Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia has put forth Dr. Matthew Opoku Prempeh, popularly known as Napo, as his choice for running mate to the National Executive Committee (NEC) of the New Patriotic Party (NPP).
Mr. Frimpong Andrews, also known as Fada B, the Ahafo Regional Communications Director for the NPP, revealed that Napo’s nomination is under careful consideration by the party’s top echelons. Fada B expressed optimism that Dr. Bawumia’s endorsement of Napo could bolster the party’s prospects in the upcoming elections, aiming to extend their governance beyond the current term.
“The announcement signals ongoing deliberations within the NPP, with final approval pending from the broader leadership. Should Napo receive unanimous support, an official introduction will follow, solidifying his role as Dr. Bawumia’s running mate and setting the stage for the party’s strategy to “break the 8″ years of opposition rule.”
Fada B further remarked Napo’s achievements in public service.He highlighted the need for a leader with a proven track record of delivering tangible benefits to Ghana, portraying Napo as a compelling choice to appeal to voters’ aspirations for effective governance.
