Omanhene of Goaso Bans Municipal Assembly from Market Ticket Sales

The Omanhene of Goaso Traditional Council in the Asunafo North Municipality of the Ahafo Region, Nana Akwasi Bosomprah l, has taken a decisive step by prohibiting the Asunafo North Municipal Assembly from conducting ticket sales at the newly established market.Nana Bosomprah expressed frustration with ANMA’s minimal involvement in the market’s development, noting that besides providing bulbs, he personally funded all other aspects.During an interview on the “Rejoice Amansan Ntie” morning show with Yaw Omono-Asamoah, he criticized ANMA for not addressing issues such as the market’s muddy conditions during rainstorms. Furthermore, Nana Bosomprah revealed discrepancies in ANMA’s financial management, alleging that while they collected 9 billion cedis from ticketing, only 5 billion cedis were accounted for during the end-of-year assembly meeting.He clarified that his actions are driven by a commitment to Goaso’s advancement rather than political motives.
