The 2nd General Meeting of the Asunafo North Municipal Assembly in the Ahafo Region has been held on Thursday,July 27.
The meeting held at Goaso Presbyterian church had the attendance of the Municipal Chief Executive (MCE) Hon Osei Yaw Boahen, Dignitaries, Coordinating Directors, Stakeholders, Assembly Members, and heads of departments of the Assembly.
The meeting’s main purpose was to review the 2023 budget of the Asunafo North Municipal Assembly.

Projects included in the budget were discussed, such as the construction of an Assembly block, Mim daily market, boreholes, toilet facilities, and a new MCE residency.
The MCE reported that they have achieved 57% of their target as per the budget.
Following the meeting, the MCE expressed his intention to engage with communities in the Asunafo North Municipality to listen to their problems and concerns.
